EasyMed Services Inc., appoints Prof.Christian Lovis to the company

TORONTO, ONTARIO (May 17, 2011) EasyMed Services Inc. (the "Company"�) (CNSX: EZM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Christian Lovis to the Company's board of directors effective May 11, 2011.

Christian Lovis is professor of clinical informatics at the University of Geneva and leads the Division of Medical Information Sciences at the Geneva University Hospitals.

Prof. Lovis is an Internal Medicine medical doctor, specializing in emergency medicine. Prof. Lovis studied Medical Informatics at the University of Geneva focusing on clinical information systems. In 1998, Prof Lovis developed a natural language entry system for the CPOE in the Veterans Affairs's Vista computerized patient records in Seattle. In 2000, he graduated with a Master in Public Health from the University of Washington.

Prof. Lovis is the author of a number of peer-reviewed papers and is an editorial board member for major journals in medical informatics, such as the Journal of American Medical Informatics Association, Methods of Information in Medicine and The International Journal of Medical Informatics. Prof. Lovis is the President of the Swiss Medical Informatics Association; Secretary of the European Federation of Medical Informatics, Chairs the International Medical Informatics Associations" Health Information System working group and the Traceability working group of the European Federation of Medical Informatics. Prof. Lovis co-chairs the Swiss eHealth federal coordination committee. Standard and Architecture working group and is a member of several working groups at the European Union for ICT activities. Prof. Lovis is also the clinical leader of the DebugIT EU project of the 7th framework that intends on developing a distributed pan- European network around infectious disease surveillance using clinical information systems.
